I've actually always had this search engine dream. One day you'll be able to see a picture of something or take a picture of something, and load it into a search engine and have it scan the pic, search, and tell you what it is. So you see a flower, stop and take a pic of it, and Google will tell you what kind of flower it is. Or you can take a pic of a fungus growing on your favorite plant and Google will be able to tell you what it is by scanning the characteristics of the pic. Cars, people, buildings -- it should work for whatever you can photograph
It's easier for the user as the search engine have gathered all the information needed. Plus,it could save a lot of time.

ReplyDeleteThis kind of search engine is very useful and will gives a great benefit to mankind. But, let us view this innovation in different perspectives, IS it legal and ethical for such serach engine to exist? For example , if a criminal want to kidnap someone, by the usage of this search engine , It will hepl him to get the information about his victims easily, by just take the picture of the victims and upload it into the search engine. poff!! In just a aseconf all the data will be available to the criminal . One more thing , Is it ethical to know things about people which is private for certain people .
