Biometric Fingerprint Scanner-Ekey
Increased security breaches, be they in the workplace or at home, are a matter of concern among working professionals as well as residents, which forces them to keep each and everything under lock, turning their pocket into a messy key holder. Providing a solution, Italian designer Chiara Ripalti has come up with an innovative device named the “Ekey” that lets you access various places, such as the office, home or library, safely with just one small gadget. Easy to use, the device equips a fingerprint scanner to identify the fingerprint of the user before allowing entry to multiple private environments. Wrapped in a customized cover, the Ekey also includes a LED light that glows to mark a legal entry.

If there is alarm signal when illegal entry it will alert people around that somebody trying unlock the Ekey -Safuan-
ReplyDeleteI'm sure it will cost a lot and if we lost this e-key,it would be troublesome in getting a new one.

ReplyDeleteWe can see that this technology can enhance the quality of life by reducing the usage of normal keys to Ekey. But, let us view this innovations in different perspectives. Can this innovation integrate into society? . As we can see this kind of technology highly depends on sensitive materials such as LED and fingerprint scanner. Let say the Ekey broken or damage , This will cause chaotic situation because the damage will cause the user of unaccess of their office , residents and car . But it's still great technology
